Sunday, December 17
Sunday, December 17 is the 3rd Sunday of Advent. We will celebrate Advent 3 with the Children's Christmas Pageant and Holy Eucharist at 10 am. Adult Sunday School with Rev. Madeline begins at 9 am. We have a contemplative Lectio-Divina reading of our Gospel for the day.
Children's Sunday School begins at 9:30 am, followed by worship services and communion at 10 am. Nursery is available for Sunday morning services.
We will meet in the Parish Hall immediately following services for delicious refreshments, great fellowship and fantastic Equal Exchange Coffee. If you need great coffee, you can buy Equal Exchange Coffee in the Parish Hall on Sundays. This is one of several ongoing outreach ministries at St. Christopher's.

Advent Art Retreat and Quiet Day
Saturday December 16 10AM-2:30PM
Join us on Saturday December 16 for a time of centering and creativity. We'll explore some meditative prayer practices including praying with icons, centering prayer, and journaling. Helen Green will also lead us in creating a piece from water colors. If you have a project you are working on and would like to bring, there will be time and space for you to work. We are providing a holy quiet space in the midst of this hectic season. Bring a sack lunch. In order to ensure enough art materials, please RSVP to Rev. Madeline at firstname.lastname@example.org
Meditation Class is meeting this Wednesday.
We meet each Wednesday in the Parish Hall at 5 pm. On Wednesday, December 6, we will begin our Advent Meditations. This week we will finish our series on Blessing and Being a Blessing.
We have a wonderful group of mediators and we have a great time together. Our group is led by Mary Christopher who has more than 30 years practicing and teaching meditation and spiritual practices. Everyone is Welcome to join us, regardless of your experience with meditation

Schedule of Christmas Services December 24
Our Sunday Morning service for Christmas Eve will be Morning Prayer beginning at 10 am.
Our Christmas Eve services are at 5 pm and 7:30 pm. The Nursery is available for the 5 pm service on Christmas Eve. Please join us for caroling with the choir 30 minutes before each evening service. Many Blessings to you and all your family during this joyful season.
Living Compass ~ Practicing Wonder
This Advent we will be following Living Compass' devotional guide Practicing Wonder with all your heart, soul, strength, and mind. Booklets are available in the Narthex.
We will gather in small groups for discussion and prayer related to the devotional guide on December 7, 14, and 21 at 6:30 pm in the Parish Hall. Living Compass also offers a self-assessment for wellness in areas of heart, soul, strength, and mind. Just follow this link for the Living Compass Assessment and use the group code "wellness". We encourage all who want to participate to take the assessment and join the discussion!
Choir Rehearsal - Wednesday at 7 pm
Choir rehearsal is this Wednesday in the Sanctuary. If you love to sing, consider joining us. We have a joyful time together. No long-term commitment is required. So, join us as we make "a joyful noise to the Lord".
Ann Vail leads our wonderful choir every Sunday. We are so fortunate to have such dedicated musicians.
